Bio

Steven Gaitman is a 1992 graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is a 1995 graduate of Touro Law School, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Gaitman began his professional career working as a defense attorney for the Nassau County Legal Aid Society. He knows how to anticipate the prosecution’s next move as well as how to counteract their strategy.   

Mr. Gaitman is an experienced Criminal Law practitioner who has successfully defended Federal and State Criminal prosecutions for nearly 25 years. He has handled cases in several different states, including New York, Arizona, South Dakota, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia. He also knows Nassau County’s local courts inside and out.   

His personal passion for the law, as well as the service and commitment to his clients, make him an effective advocate. Mr. Gaitman prides himself on being a fearless, relentless attorney with a singular goal of a just and proper result for each of his clients. He makes it a priority to keep up with the changes in the law to ensure he always gives the right legal advice. Mr. Gaitman is also committed to delivering comprehensive client communication from start to finish.
